Our Vision and Mission
At Clarence High School our vision is to prepare our students to be responsible and active citizens of the future, able to make informed contributions as citizens and leaders. The school achieves its vision by focusing on three key strategic directions: Teaching, Learning and Wellbeing and we are proud of the achievements of the students and staff. Students need skills to be resilient and creative problem solvers, thinkers, communicators and life-long learners. We want our students to feel that they can take control of their lives and design the futures they want for themselves. Clarence High School is highly respected for its contribution to the community. Active citizenship underpins our vision: to foster caring, connected and socially engaged citizens who actively contribute to the wellbeing of their communities. We encourage students to participate in the full life of the school, including membership of sporting teams, debating, drama and participation in academic competitions and in the various school bands as well as taking on formal leadership roles as Peer Supporters, Sports Captains and Prefects.
