The Clarence High School Prefect Board are the ambassadors of our school. They organise whole school assemblies in consultation with teachers. They lead school tours. They represent the school at notable events within our local community. The Prefect Board listen to what our students would like to do and organise events such as the Year 7 Social, Youth Day, Quiz Night, the annual Talent Quest and more. The Prefect Board are a group of students to whom the student body looks up to and aspire to become.
The Clarence Sports Leadership program is an excellent opportunity for our students to demonstrate their skills both at Clarence High School and the wider community. The students at Clarence are heavily involved with our feeder schools, assisting with the running of their athletics, swimming and cross country carnivals. They also umpire inter-primary school sports such as netball and AFL.
Sports leaders take charge of the organisation for borrowing gear and equipment for all members of the school. In our own athletics, swimming and cross country carnivals each leader is involved in a House. They take pride in fostering House spirit and supporting every student to do their best. With this drive and passion our Sports Leaders encourage the student body to have a sense of belonging in the Clarence High School community.
